Tailor-made remuneration
Grontmij is one of the first Belgian companies to offer its employees a personalised salary package: the Flex Income Plan. The Flex Income Plan enables you to compose part of your remuneration package yourself, within the established framework and based on your own individual needs and wishes. The reason for this is that priorities differ, depending on family situation or age; for example, employees in their early twenties might value cash money more, parents might be searching for a more suitable family car and those over the age of fifty might want a more suitable rhythm. The Flex Income Plan meets these needs by offering you a budget choice (part of the remuneration package) that you can exchange at your discretion for cash salary payments or for one or more benefits.

Flexible hours and commuting
Not only do we offer flexible working hours and the possibility to work part-time; Grontmij also promotes the use of public transport amongst its employees. The offices are always strategically located, making it easy for all our employees to commute to work on public transport. Our cycling colleagues also benefit through all kinds of cycle-friendly initiatives, such as covered and locked bicycle storage areas, showers, great promotions, ... Moreover we want to minimise the amount of movement between our offices in Belgium and the offices abroad. To this end we use a high-quality video conferencing system, which enables us to exchange knowledge and information with colleagues anywhere in the world quickly and efficiently.
