Building Environmental Engineer 

Location: Maidenhead – Roger Preston & Partners

Outline of role: 
Roger Preston Environmental is a specialist division of Roger Preston & Partners (part of the Grontmij Group) that provides expert advice on all aspects of sustainable design within the built environment.  We believe that intelligent design is the mechanism through which sustainable principles are translated into practical, cost-effective solutions that satisfy the aspirations of owners, occupiers and future generations. Leaders in BREEAM and sustainable assessments we have delivered low energy sustainable solutions throughout the world.

We are looking for a senior engineer to undertake specialist CFD, dynamic thermal modeling and accreditation work.  You will take an active role in helping establish the brief of projects, presenting appropriate options as well as in developing panning solutions and energy strategies.  
You will work closely with architects and other members of the professional team to assist in delivering projects in a timely and cost effective manner.  

To succeed in this role you should be proactive, enjoy working as part of a team and have the proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience in BREEAM and LEED would be advantageous as we undertake many accreditations for our wide global client base.

Qualifications required: 
Master of Engineering (MEng)

Experience required: 
Suitable candidates will be experienced environmental modellers who have strong model building skills.  You should also be able to demonstrate specialist expertise in CFD and dynamic thermal modelling. 

Experience in BREEAM and LEED would be advantageous.
