In traffic planning, Grontmij assists the policy makers with developing a.o. visions & developments, mobility plans, road safety studies, parking studies and road allignment studies. The existing, often-outdated road infrastructure must be adapted to the current demands of road safety. This must happen in a broader future development perspective. Grontmij is experienced in supporting such processes, whereby the visions of the parties involved are tuned to one another.

Ingenious solutions
The increasing parking pressure in our cities demands ingenious solutions. Grontmij has extensive experience in analysing and solving parking problems. Not just road transport but also alternative modes of transport will contribute to a sustainable solution for the traffic congestion. To this end Grontmij works on the development of better bicycle infrastructure, flow-through studies for public transport and the development of new (fast) lightrail infrastructure together with the renovation of the Belgian rail and waterways network.
