Policy studies on integrated water management 
Grontmij advises on ecology, water quality and water quantity.  Some of our products are future development studies of river basin areas, basin management plans, hydraulic and hydrologic calculations of rivers and sewage networks and studies on dehydration, water flooding and erosion. Our expertise on the overlap of hydrology and ecology makes for sustainable solutions for nature, water and landscape. Vision development and research lead to adapted water level management and the development of flood areas as nature reserves. In this, Grontmij provides the design and assists the client during the execution of the works.

Local and supra-local modelling
Grontmij uses the latest techniques in hydraulic modelling, eco-hydrologic modelling, economic modelling and GIS modelling to develop studies and designs. On the level of sub-basins, simulations of the mutual influence of rivers and sewage systems must prevent floods.
