Reference design
Within the determined context and with attention for the lifecycle of the investment, Grontmij makes a quality, coherent and sustainable reference design for your construction and/or infrastructure project. The necessary certification procedures are covered in all their aspects, including all the required studies that must be done with regards to the project (feasibility and landscape studies, energy assessment, environmental impact studies...).

Selection - specifications – risk management
Based on the set DBFM selection guidelines, the candidates are evaluated. The selected candidates are then invited to make an offer based on the DBFM specifications and tender documents. The DBFM documents are prepared by Grontmij in close consultation with financial and legal advisors, and include items such as the allotment guidelines, the scope, the output specifications and the risk allocation. Also the maintenance aspects and the payment method, which directs the course of the entire DBFM procedure to a large degree, are carefully studied and developed by Grontmij.

To realisation
The contractual documents are screened for coherence with the performance specifications and combined into a fully fledged & comprehensive DBFM dossier. Next, Grontmij guides you through the negotiations about allotment and taking into use of the project until the end of the collaboration agreement.
