Job description:

• You are involved, from the design phase on, with the larger construction sites and give construction input during engineering (Constructability).
• You are responsible for site preparation and you will manage site initiation.
• You manage the construction schedule and monitor construction progress.
• You manage both Mechanical Completion and the handover to the Commissioning team and/or end client.
• You monitor the quality of the construction work.
• You organise on-site stock management.
• You manage the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) aspects at the site, in close consultation with the end client's safety department and/or the safety coordinator.
• You manage the building contract between the end client and the contractors.
• You lead and organise the supervision of the construction activities in accordance with the specifications.
• You lead, organise and coordinate the different contractors.
• You are responsible for communications with the end client and organise the site administration and Document Control.
• You report to the head of the construction discipline. Together with him, you  develop the construction quality manual further. You are jointly responsible for guiding and coaching less experienced colleagues.

Profile:

• You are an industrial engineer or equivalent through experience.
• To apply for the Senior position you must have 10 years of relevant experience as a Construction Manager at multidisciplinary industrial and/or pharmaceutical sites, at an engineering office, contractor or end client.
• To apply for the junior position you must have 3 to 5 years of relevant site experience with an engineering firm, contractor or end client.
• Your interests are multidisciplinary. You are proactive, alert, structured, keen to learn, assertive and have a communicative attitude.
