Job description:

• You lead a team of around 10 process engineers. You translate general policy guidelines into a tangible plan of action for your own discipline and then work on the implementation. In addition to the management aspect, you also play a key role in chemical/petrochemical, pharmaceutical and non-ferrous sector projects.
• You consult closely with the client to design processing systems or modifications to existing processing systems. This process design forms the foundation for other engineering disciplines.
• You design a process to optimise safety, the environment, output and reliability.
• You also have a key role within the project team. You help create a detailed design, you advise the designers and check the design against process-technical criteria. You are responsible for risk analyses.
• You work closely with junior process engineers and you can delegate your work to them. You are also responsible for guiding them and developing their knowledge.

Profile:

• You are an industrial or civil engineer.
• You have at least 10 years experience as a process engineer, at least 5 of which are in an engineering environment.
• You have ample experience with process-technical calculation and creating P&IDs. You keep close contact with clients and the management and are a proven team player. You can be persuasive and motivating but you are also a good listener.
